The ghosts and goblins will be coming out of the dark next week for Halloween, but many people will be celebrating by hiding out in the house with a bunch of scary movies. MSN.com put together a list of the 10 scariest movies of all time. Mine didn't even make the list!

When I was in college, The Blair Witch Project came out, and I thought it was the scariest movie ever. Granted, there's not a lot of blood and gore in it, but it's the idea that you don't know what's out there that makes it so scary. It's what you don't see that will make your skin crawl. Plus, you could have easily filmed that movie in my backyard.

Here are the 10 movies that MSN thinks are the scariest of all time:

10. Eraserhead (1977)
9. The Exorcist (1973)
8. Halloween (1978)
7. Don't Look Now (1973)
6. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
5. Nightmare On Elm Strett (1984)
4. Suspiria (1977)
3. Night of the Living Dead (1968)
2. Repulsion (1965)
1. Psycho (1960)

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
