This is one of the biggest and best lineups we have ever had, and we are thrilled to announce which artists will be coming to the Toyota Taste of Country!
Headliner: Thomas Rhett
The son of country star Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett is one of the biggest stars in American country music today. His three studio albums have produced nine #1 singles, including "Make Me Wanna", "Crash and Burn", "Star of the Show" and his current top single, "Unforgettable". The Top Male Country Artist at the 2017 American Music Awards and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, Thomas Rhett is one of the hottest artists to ever headline Taste of Country.
Chris Janson
Singer/songwriter Chris Janson entered the country music scene writing with and for some of the biggest names in country music, including Tim McGraw, Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Hank Williams, Jr. He has enjoyed success on a massive scale since 2015, when he released the top-five single "Buy Me A Boat". His most recent album Everybody was released in September, and is led by the widely-played single "Fix A Drink".
Scotty McCreery
The 24-year-old American Idol winner has been a staple in country music since his certified platinum studio debut album Clear As Day in 2011. Scotty set a new record in July with his song "Five More Minutes"--he is the only country artist in chart history to chart a song without the backing of a record label. You can hear Scotty on WYRK currently, and you can expect to hear some music from his upcoming March album Seasons Change at this year's Toyota Taste of Country.
Danielle Bradbery
2013 winner of The Voice Danielle Bradbery is one of Nashville's most promising up-and-coming talents. Her sophomore album I Don't Believe We've Met was just released in December 2017, and the lead single from that album, "Sway" can be heard on radio stations across the country. In case you missed it, take a look back at Danielle's recent "Get to Know Show" appearance at 189 Public House here.
Opener: TOC Riser Competition Winner Kate Mallen
Kate Mallen won the WYRK TOC Riser competition in December, and will be featured on the nationally-syndicated Taste of Country Nights radio show hosted by Sam Alex. Kate outlasted three of the top local country acts in Buffalo for her shot at opening up not only this year's Toyota Taste of Country, but also Jam in the Valley and the WYRK Fall Acoustic Show.
