Trace Adkins says he appreciates all the support from friends and fans after fire destroyed his home in Brentwood, Tennessee over the weekend.  But instead of trying to help him he's asking that donations be made to the American Red Cross through CMT's charitable arm, CMT One Country.  Trace says there are so many families across the midwest and south who are struggling right now from flooding and tornadoes this spring.  He says they need the help a whole lot more than he does.

Trace says his family is safe and that's all he cares about.  In that way he says he's "been blessed."  Everything else "can be replaced."   Trace, his wife Rhonda and their girls are staying at their farm in Eagleville, Tennessee.  It's where he recently shot the video to his latest single, "Just Fishin'."

Meanwhile, Trace is getting back to work.  He was on his way to Alaska when the fire broke out Saturday.  He's now back in Alaska for a couple of shows, then he'll be back in Nashville for the CMA Music Festival this weekend.  He'll performing at LP field Saturday night.
