This week’s Hometown Hero is originally from Sanborn. It’s U.S. Army Specialist Trevor Wasik!

Trevor’s nomination came from his friend Adam and said:

Trevor has been a good friend of mine since grade school. He has currently been deployed twice and has spent several years away from home. He comes from a long line of true Western New York farmers and represents the hard working nature of his family overseas. This small town soldier comes home in several days and has been missing WNY like crazy.

We hope he comes home sooner than later. Thank you goes out to Trevor for all that he does to keep our country safe, and we are proud to call him this week’s Hometown Hero!

If you would like to nominate someone who is currently serving our country or has served in the past, click the button below. We will choose a new Hometown Hero each Friday. If their name is chosen, we will not only feature them on WYRK.com, but we’ll be sure to thank them for their service on the air and dedicate the first song on Noon Tunes to them.

Once again, thank you to U.S. Army Specialist Trevor Wasik, our Hometown Hero of the week!
