UB Set To Host Free IT Day For Girls In March

The University of Buffalo has teamed up with Blackstone LaunchPad to offer girls who are in 6th to 10th grades a chance to attend "She Started IT, Buffalo '20" for free.

The event is targeted for girls interested in computing, tech and, entrepreneurship and will give them the chance to learn about careers and meet women who have founded companies.

The program is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library’s Central Library at 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo.

While the event is free you still need to register to attend.
