The Most Underrated Restaurant in the South Towns of Buffalo

If you're someone who loves to go out to restaurants on a weekly basis, then you probably love hitting up the same destinations. That's normal, most people do that.

We find a few favorites and love to rely on them for a great experience.

However, this is Western New York. There is absolutely no shortage of amazing restaurants in the Buffalo area. If you're thinking of trying some new places in the next few days and weeks, you absolutely should -- you never know when you're going to find a great place to eat that will soon be in your regular rotation.

If you live in Blasdell, Lackawanna or Hamburg, there's a relatively new spot along Route 5 that should be on your radar; they just might be the most underrated restaurant in the south towns.

Lakeshore Café is located along Route 5, near the Milestrip and Route 5 interchange. They haven't been opened very long but have made quite the impression over the last year or two in Blasdell.

I've been here a couple times now and can't get over how great the flavors are in the variety of dishes. The Italian beef sandwich might the the favorite of customers, but the grilled chicken sandwich is also excellent. They serve seasoned crinkle fries, which you simply don't see much at restaurants. It kind of reminds me of fair fries, but much better and more fresh.

The desserts are out of this world as well, like the tiramisu.

I'm sure Lakeshore Café will be around a long time and get even more busy as the months go by. Definitely worth a trip.
