It's been years since I've played basketball but I can't wait to take the court tomorrow night out in my hometown to help out a great cause.  It's called the Roundball Rumble for Roswell.

It all started from the ideas of the SGI high school’s sports and entertainment marketing class.  They came up with the idea of having a charity basketball game because of the low cost to start it up.  They decided to invite local celebrities and alumni to play in it and then decided to give proceeds to a great cause.

They chose Roswell because according to the Springville Times it "has had a role in so many people’s lives either directly or indirectly."

It should be a whole lot of fun with lots of entertaining personalities from local radio and television.

Look for the event to begin around 5:45 and tip off around 6:30.  Tickets can be purchased for $3 presale at the high school in The Griffin’s Lair, or from Eric Holler (contact him at EHoller@SpringvilleGI.org to order).  They will also be available for $5 at the door.
