WATCH: Massive Pothole Swallows Pickup Truck In Buffalo, New York
There are two season in New York State; winter and pothole season. This pothole season seems to be worse than most.
The warm weather followed by freezing temps and back to warm weather again has made for the ideal conditions to rip roads apart and the roads that are getting patched are not standing up to the traffic or the weather that pass over them.
But this situation in Buffalo, New York may be the worst we have seen!
On Facebook, South Elmwood Detail posted a video that shows a pothole opening up just moments before a pickup truck finds it and is swallowed up!
The winter weather is back this weekend even though it is the first full weekend of spring. We set a record for high temps this past week when we it got as warm as 75 degrees!
But living in Buffalo we know that March is the one month that seems to have to most up and down temperatures and "spring" doesn't truly arrive in til mid April or May.
