You may have heard the joke that begins with “a horse walks into a bar.” But what happens when a camel walks into a pet store?

Meet Jeffrey the Camel.

Jeffrey loves meeting people and is great with people, but the trainer that was working with him needed the Camel to get used to a industrial sized scale they were going to transport him to in order to give him an accurate dosages of his annual medications and vaccines.

"The trainer was helping with Jeffrey's skills on riding in the trailer so we could safely transport him to a large industrial scale to have him weighed. We knew he loved people and thought PetSmart would be a great place to practice. The managers agreed and off we went ," said Jenny Ferels, Brand Ambassador at Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo.
