Best Weekend Events For Aug. 30-Sept. 2 In Western New York

It’s a big weekend for Western New York, with festivals, big annual events, and so many more activities for Labor Day Weekend! The weather is shaping up to be mostly sunny this weekend, and that’s exactly what Buffalo needs! After all, people generally associate Labor Day with being the “unofficial end to the summer.” 

This weekend is going to be a great “big finale” before school gets back into season. You will definitely want to get out and enjoy the fresh air, whether that’s with bike riding, going for a run, a walk, or just getting out on the porch for your morning cup of coffee. However, if you want to venture away from your house, you may be considering attending these weekend events going on throughout the area. 

Since we’re already into September, you will begin to feel the crisp air shift into a fall breeze, and honestly? We’re totally here for it – but not this weekend. Labor Day is the last hurrah of summer, and there are meat raffles, festivals, and more going on this weekend.

Which event is your favorite from Kadie's Kalendar?

There is so much to choose from on the list, I completely get it, but at the top of my weekend wish list is the National Buffalo Wing Festival. If you plan to go this year, make sure you keep an eye out for Rob Banks from WYRK – he is one of the few local celebrities planning to bob for chicken wings in a bucket of blue cheese.
