According to their Facebook page, four West Seneca Police officers performed a welfare check on a homeless man on Orchard Park Road. He was sleeping in the bushes to keep warm.

Police noticed his shoes were just the upper-portion of a boot taped to a pair of flip flops.

The officers created a "care package" for the man, which included food, clothes, toiletries and even a pair of new sneakers and boots.

The man was extremely grateful to the officers who looked after him. AMR Western New York paramedics also looked after the man.

What's even more incredible is all four officers wish to remain anonymous...
