Car Crashes Into Buffalo Creek In West Seneca [PHOTOS]
It's been a messy morning across Western New York.
A winter storm rushed its way up to the northeast during the overnight hours and it's been snowing with a mix of freezing rain since early Friday. If you love north of Buffalo, chances are it's been all snow. However, if you live south of the city, then you've had some sleet mixing in with the snowfall.
That's the case for towns like Hamburg, Orchard Park and West Seneca.
The roads are extremely slippery and one car ended up losing control and going into Buffalo Creek off Clinton Street at Borden.
Thankfully, the driver was not hurt but it's caused headaches for the West Seneca Police Department on Friday, trying to find a way to get it out of the creek.
Since this is the West Seneca Police Department, you know that they are having at least a little bit of fun with it, even though where the car is placed is causing challenges.
They are currently in the process of cutting down trees and getting a tow truck involved, in order to pull the car back up the bank and out of Buffalo Creek.
This adorable good boy has offered to help.
It's great that the West Seneca PD is acting so quick in getting this car removed. It's even more awesome the driver was unharmed.
There's only 3 inches of snow or so in West Seneca, but that's all it takes with the freezing rain to have an accident such as this.
Be careful driving out there.
