West Seneca’s Nick Mroz Is This Week’s Hometown Hero
It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week. This week, our Hometown Hero is from West Seneca, NY. From our United States Marine Corps, it’s Corporal Nick Mroz!
Nick's nomination said:
Nick was raised and grew up in West Seneca. He went to West Seneca High School and played football and also in his senior year was a volunteer firefighter at Vigilant Fire Department. Even at a young age he always wanted to join the military but couldn't decide which branch to join. At 17, he finally made the choice to join the Marines and that's what he did. At 18 he graduated high school and went right to boot camp. He is enjoying every minute of it and is glad of the choices in life.
This week, we are proud to name Nick Mroz our Hometown Hero of the week. If you'd like to nominate your own Hometown Hero, click the button below. We like to honor both active heroes and veteran heroes from right here in Western New York.
Thanks once again to Corporal Nick Mroz from our United States Marine Corps...our Hometown Hero of the week.
