Western New York Receives Failing Grade For Air Quality
The American Lung Association released it's the latest report on air quality across the country and Western New York received a failing grade.
Both Erie and Chautauqua counties received an "F" for Ozone air quality in the latest report from the ALA.
Niagara County got a grade of "C" in the same report.
The good news is that you can help improve that grade.
The ALA recommends that you drive less, use less electricity and don't burn wood or trash to help improve the Ozone air quality. Also, you can support measures in your community that can cut air pollution. You can also tell your local and state officials to take steps to clean up air pollution. Send a message to Congress to tell them we need them to support cleaner, healthier air.
