Tonight's Useless Trivia question (Wednesday, August 15) had to do with people's lunch habits at work. The question stated that although it's normally expected at work, four out of 10 employees would not eat their lunch at work. Why not?

Are we really that busy that we can't stop and do something that is vitally important to us?  My mom always said, "Well, you have to eat," but evidently as a culture, many of us don't.

Everything that I've ever read says that taking breaks can actually help us function better while we're at work.  So it seems like "working through lunch" might actually work against us.  Do restaurants take too long?  Are we too occupied with other things that we can't pack a lunch?
