Why The People At Abercrombie Won’t Be Watching The Jersey Shore

It seems as though not everyone is a fan of the show Jersey Shore. One famous name brand company has called on the cast to stop wearing their clothing and a report indicates that they are even willing to pay them to stop wearing their clothing on camera!They are especially concerned with the Situation wearing the brand. Abercrombie released a statement saying:

"We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino's association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans," an Abercrombie & Fitch spokesperson said in a statement. "We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response."

In the world of fashion, isn't it the goal of every designer to have your clothes seen by millions? The Jersey Shore is a hugely successful show. I can honestly say that I have never seen a single minute of the show. But, I would imagine that it can only help to have your clothing advertised for free on such a huge show. However, I do compliment Abercrombie for their integrity!
