Bucky Covington recently lent his talents to an event in Nashville called "Autism Sings". The event was held at Jimmy Buffet's Magaritaville on Broadway in downtown Nashville. The purpose was to raise awareness of Autism. Bucky's step-brother has a child with Autism so the cause is very close to his family and his heart. Bucky also took part in a separate fundraiser in Nashville recently called "Help The Good Guys". This organization helps out police officers and firefighters who have been injured in the line of duty. In this video, Bucky talks about helping out both organizations.

A few years ago, I was able to spend some time with Bucky following one of our Acoustic shows at the U.B. Center for the Arts. He truly is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet in the music business. He's a genuine guy who loves to meet new people. And he also loves to talk. When you speak with Bucky Covington, it feels like you are speaking with an old friend you have known your whole life. He is the type of individual that makes me proud to be a part of the country music industry.
