In two games out west the Sabres have yet to give up a goal.  Ryan Miller posted his second straight shutout making 39 saves as the Sabres held off the San Jose Sharks 1-0 on Thursday night.  That came just one night after he made 43 saves in a 2-0 win in Anaheim on Wednesday night.  So that's 82 saves in consecutive nights for the Sabres goaltender.

The lone goal of the game came late in the first period when Drew Stafford scored off a San Jose turnover and Miller and the Sabres defense made it hold up.  So with the win the Sabres move up to 10th place in the standings, but still four points out of a playoff spot.  They continue their road trip on Saturday night in Vancouver.
