Back in April, it was announced that Bed Bath & Beyond would close 40 stores by the end of the year. Now, that number is more than first expected.

According to WIVB, Bed Bath & Beyond will now close 60 stores by the end of the year.

Interim CEO Mary Winston said on a call that the closures will benefit the remaining open stores because of the company’s “renewed focus on driving traffic and operating efficiency,” CNN reports.

40 of those stores will be Bed Bath & Beyond's, while the other 20 will be stores from other brands.

There's no word yet on which stores they will be and if any of them are in Western New York.
