He was on hand last year at the NFL Draft to announce Harrison Phillips as the newest member of the Buffalo Bills.  This year, he's unfortunately taken a turn for the worst.

A familiar fan of the Buffalo Bills will not be at the draft this year to root for his team.

Those who follow football may know Ezra Castro by a different name.  When it comes to the NFL, and the Buffalo Bills, Ezra Castro is known as one of the biggest Bills fans on the planet.  A Bills fan who goes by the name "Pancho Billa."

He's from Dallas which makes him an unlikely follower of The Bills, but he's still one of the most faithful.  The story about how he became a fan is a good one.  But today, the story is about how other Bills fans can support one of their own.

Last year, he was able to get up on stage along with two Bills greats, Andre Reed and Fred Jackson to announce the 96th pick of the draft.  He had just received chemo therapy before the draft had begun.  He's been battling cancer for quite some time now.  But this year, it has sidelined him from attending the draft to support his team.

On Easter Sunday he tweeted out that he was headed to the emergency room but that he would be ok:

Concerns have grown over the past few days however as he then cancelled his trip to be at the NFL Draft in Nashville:

 

And today...on the day of the draft, Pancho has entered Hospice Care:
