The Buffalo Bills are scheduled to play a game in Detroit at Ford Field this Sunday.

The Bills opponent, the Cleveland Browns, have already made it to Detroit by bus as they prepare to play the Bills at 1 pm.

This game was originally supposed to take place in Orchard Park this Sunday, but because of the lake effect snowstorm that dumped anywhere from 3-6 feet of snow in just over a 24-hour period, which is a lake effect snowstorm we have never seen in Western New York before.

The November of 2014 snowstorm was two separate events, while this one was basically continuous.

The Bills players had to snow blow and shovel their way out of their homes today, with help from Buffalonians.

The team charter plane arrived at the Buffalo airport around 1:30 pm and the Bills have in fact made it to the airport by bus. They have made it and will be able to get to Detroit by late afternoon.

They are now boarding the plane.

The Bills had originally hoped to leave around 3:30 pm for the game and while there was real concern they wouldn't be able to make it to the airport in time, they have in fact made it together for the game this Sunday against the Browns.

The Bills team has faced a ton of adversity this week.

They have dealt with injuries once again, plus an illness (non-COVID) that swept through part of the locker room. Now, a historic lake effect snowstorm that forced the Bills to lose a true home game and a race against the clock to make it to the airport in time for the game.

One thing's for sure, the Bills will come in motivated for tomorrow's game.
