The Buffalo Sabres season came to an end last night. Buffalo ended the year on a good note, winning 3-2 in overtime as Casey Mittelstadt scored the game-winner.

It was also Rick Jeanneret’s final game on the call, so it was awesome he got to go out on top like that with an overtime game-winner.

It was a busy sports weekend in Buffalo. The NFL Draft took place Thursday-Saturday and the Bills made noise by trading up to pick 23 to select Florida cornerback, Kaiir Elam and Elam attended the regular season finale for the Sabres on Friday night.

Elam was at the game with fellow new Bills teammates, like Josh Allen and Dawson Knox. Tackle Tommy Doyle was also there and he won over the Buffalo crowd by chugging a beer on the Jumbotron.

I mean, when you’re a huge offensive lineman like that, might as well give the people a show! That was awesome.

I also love Dawson Knox driving a Labatt Blue Light. The Brentwood, TN native attended Ole Miss for college football but has been fully embraced by the Western New York community.

Go Bills.
