The Buffalo Bills didn't waste any time in making room on the roster for quarterback Travaris Jackson.  The Bills released quarterback Vince Young this morning to make way for Jackson who they picked up in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a draft pick.

Jackson threw for 3,000 yards last season with the Seahawks and has 38 career touchdown passes and 35 interceptions.

Young meanwhile played poorly for the Bill this summer.  He completed only 12 of 26 passes for 103 yards and a pair of interceptions in Saturday's 38 to 7 preseason loss to the Steelers.  That was the final straw for the Bills.  They quickly made the move to acqire Jackson and he could very well be the back-up to Ryan Fitzpatrick when the Bills open the season against the New York Jets on September 8th.
