The Buffalo Bills Head To Texas With A Very Clean Injury Report
It's Week 1 in the NFL, so it's not unheard of to have a clean injury report. But we will probably never see one this clean again this season.
The Buffalo Bills release a very clean injury report
Normally we see some injuries that linger from training camp or preseason in week 1. Last year the Bills were missing linebacker Matt Milano after he injured his pectoral muscle in camp and Tre'Davious White after he injured his groin. Neither of them ended up playing week 1 against the Ravens.
That shouldn't be the case this year. The Bills released their injury report today, and it looks great. There are only three players listed, and none of them have been ruled "out" yet.
Ty Johnson has been a question all week
One of the biggest questions on the report so far this week has been about the availability of running back Ty Johnson. He's been on the report all this week and has been injured since the red/blue scrimmage that the Bills held at the beginning of August.
Today, he was back at practice, but is still listed as questionable.
There will be some game-time decisions for the Bills staff on Sunday
Ty Johnson isn't the only player on the list. Also listed was defensive tackle TJ Sanders. Coach Joe Brady was asked specifically what happened with him, and he didn't seem terribly concerned. In his words, "A little something that showed up in practice. Just a little tweak with something, but all is well."
We will find out before game time if he's ready to go.
That leaves Jordan Hancock as the last questionable player on the list. Overall, the Bills will be as healthy as possible as they get ready to take on the Houston Texans this Sunday in Houston.
