Brandon Beane Is Upset at Another NFL Team
The Buffalo Bills have had a very busy free agency since it began on Monday.
The Bills have signed multiple free agents, including stat edge rusher, Von Miller. It’s a 6-year, $120 million contract. Miller is looked at as the missing piece to a Bills team who were already Super Bowl contenders.
The Bills also signed defensive tackles JaQuan Jones and Tim Settle, along with bringing back defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and defensive end Shaq Lawson.
Guard Rodger Saffold and linebacker Marquel Lee were also signed.
However, the talk on Friday evening is what Bills general manager Brandon Beane had to say to the Buffalo media regarding another free agent that the Bills thought they had an agreement with another free agent.
The Bills agreed to a contract with free agent running back, J.D. McKissic on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, just as teams could officially sign their free agents they’ve agreed to contracts with, McKissic changed his mind and went back to the Washington Commanders.
Beane had some choice words for the “other organization” on what went down with McKissic.
Beane tried to control himself to say more but you can tell that he was very upset. It looks like Beane’s side of the story is that Washington did something teams do not do to other clubs. He said the agent did nothing wrong, but Washington didn’t stop after the agent said the negotiations were over…
What in the world did the Commanders do after the Bills agreed to a contract with McKissic?
