The NFL Combine is underway in Indianapolis, and today we got to hear from Buffalo Bills GM and President of Football Operations, Brandon Beane. He talked about everything from the head coaching search to what he's hoping for when it comes to the Bills in 2026.

Keon Coleman has been a focal point for the Buffalo Bills this offseason

It has been a bit of a whirlwind of an offseason for the Buffalo Bills. First, it starts with the playoff loss to the Denver Broncos. Then we find out they decided to move in a different direction for their head coaching position, not with Sean McDermott. Then the press conference to address the change happened. That's when Keon Coleman was brought to the front of the conversation.

When Terry Pegula mentioned that Keon Coleman wasn't Brandon Beane's first choice for that draft pick it raised a lot of eyebrows. He claimed that it was the coaching staff that really wanted Coleman drafted. Why would the GM pick a player if he didn't believe in him? Does this mean they would be trading him?

There's no question that a lot of Bills fans feel Coleman has underperformed, so what does he have to do to be favored by the team again?

Brandon Beane explains what he wants from Keon Coleman this offseason

When asked about Coleman at the Combine today, Beane explained that he has a lot of hope for the young player still. He mentioned that it didn't go unnoticed that he had a great offseason last year, but added that it was some maturity issues that possibly sidelined him this past season. He explained that he wants Keon to have a great offseason and stop letting the maturity issues get in the way of a great career.

This is a big statement from Beane. By making it, he might be diminishing any value Coleman might have had on the trade market and also showing that they've got faith in the young receiver to turn it around.

He has talent. He has some skills. He's got the coaching staff in his corner. Head Coach Joe Brady has said that the best thing to happen to Keon Coleman was him becoming the head coach. Hopefully, we will be able to see him shine this year.
