A man has been transported to the hospital today after going over the falls.

Police say they were called to help a man in crisis at 4 am this morning and when they arrived, he crawled over the retaining wall and was swept over the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara Falls, ON.

According to WIVB, he was found moments later sitting on some rocks in the lower Niagara River basin.  He was taken to the hospital and treated for some non-life threatening injuries.

His identity was not released and no other information is available at this time.
