Brett Favre: “Josh Allen Is The New Tom Brady and Will Be Running The Division”
It's safe to say that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is having a breakout season -- his third season in the NFL.
The Bills are 4-0 and that is largely due to Allen's play. He's thrown for 12 touchdown passes, over 1,300 yards passing and a 71 percent completion percentage.
Allen's play has impressed nearly everyone, including one of the best quarterbacks to every play the game.
According to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, former Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre was on the radio with Bruce Murray on Sirius/XM's The Blitz and talked high praise for Allen.
"His time is now and I think it is going to be for a while. And I think Josh Allen will be the new Tom Brady, you know, at some point he will be running the division. I believe that," said Favre.
That is quite the statement.
Allen had a lot of doubters coming out of Wyoming, mainly due to his "raw" talent and completion percentage but he's improved all three years and has become a complete quarterback under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, quarterback coach Ken Dorsey and throwing coach Jordan Palmer.
