Brian Gionta’s 1000th Game Recognized by NHLPA

Congratulations to Buffalo Sabre Brian Gionta who played in his 1000th game on Monday night against Florida in front of a home crowd at The Key Bank Center.

The Sabres beat the Panthers 4-2 and Gionta was part of the scoring with a power play goal.

Among the many celebrations before and during the game, this video was produced and released by the NHLPA as a tribute to Gionta's milestone game.

It was the Sabres fourth win in five games.
