According to FOX Sports, a noose was left in the garage stall of Bubba Wallace who last week called for the removal of the Confederate Flag from NASCAR Races.

Only NASCAR crew members, NASCAR officials, safety workers and other essential personnel are supposed to have access to the garage area because of COVID-19 protocols. NASCAR confirmed Monday morning that a member of the Richard Petty Motorsports team found the noose in Wallace’s garage stall. It has not released any details on how the noose was positioned inside the garage stall.

NASCAR announced that they will conduct a full investigation and that the act was reported to the FBI who will handle any criminal investigation of the act.

Wallace tweeted out his disappointment with the racist act.
