It's not the first time we've had to ask the question, but it's coming up again. Are the Bills replacing Tyler Bass?

Last October, the Bills signed another kicker in the midst of a what seemed to be a struggling season for their starting kicker, Tyler Bass. He seemed to take it in stride and understood that they had to do what was necessary. Then, just a few days later, that extra kicker was released.

This year has already proven to be another tough year for Tyler Bass

Already this year, Bass is struggling, and he's barely had the chance to prove himself. He's been injured. For most of training camp, he has been sidelined with a pelvic injury. They've resorted to signing another kicker for the preseason and even had backup running back Ray Davis kicking some extra points.

The Bills are trying out new kickers

I'm not sure if this is worse news for the Bills or for Bass. Today, the Buffalo Bills were trying out new kickers.

Jordan Schultz is reporting that the Bills tried out Eddy Piñeiro, Zane Gonzalez and Greg Joseph.

This could mean a bunch of different things. It could simply mean that Bass isn't healthy enough to kick yet and they're just trying to find a guy to kick until he is. But it could also mean that they're looking to find someone new to replace him so they can move on.

Bass has had his ups and downs

Bass has certainly has been on a bit of a roller coaster for the last couple of years. He's had big last minute wins like the one over Miami last year, and he's had a couple of big misses in big moments too.

He's unfortunately not as automatic as you'd want for your kicker, but he's also kicking in one of the toughest places in the NFL.

While the Bills brought those kickers in to try out, there is no word at the publishing of this article of them signing anyone else.
