Watch For Road Closures Ahead Of The Buffalo Marathon
The Buffalo Marathon weekend is held every Memorial Day weekend in Western New York, and many runners and supporters are gearing up for the fun this week for race day activities and more.

Race organizers told WGRZ that there would be “more than 6,000 athletes from 13 countries and 41 states” participating in this year’s marathon weekend.
Whether you are running this weekend or not, there are tons of ways to be involved in the events!
Some of those fun activities include:
- A summer kickoff party on Chippewa Street - Friday, May 26 @ 5:00 pm
- Health & Wellness Expo - Saturday, May 27 @ 9 AM - 6 PM
- Plogging on Chippewa Street - Friday, May 26 @ 5:30 PM (registration required)
- The Shopper Chopper - Friday, May 26 @ dusk
- Ruffalo Stampede 1k run/walk on Pearl St. - Saturday, May 27 @ 12:30 pm
However, there are some people who may not be participating in the event and simply just want to know what roads are closed.
