Oktoberfest is fast approaching and the falls brews are already being released! We all know that Buffalo doesn't need a reason to party but if you give us one we'll do it better than anyone else! In the past years Buffalo has started to climb the list of best places for celebrations, whether it's St. Patrick's Day or now Oktoberfest!

In a recent study by WalletHub, Buffalo was listed amongst the best cities to celebrate the Oktoberfest holiday! The study took the 100 biggest cities and took different factors into consideration like the German population, cost of Oktoberfest ticket, amount of Pretzels shops and breweries per capita to name a few. Buffalo fared vary well in the study and made the top of several categories factored into the study.

Did you know that Buffalo is tied for first place with Most Pretzel Shops per Capita?! That's a crazy stat considering we're ties with Orlando, Florida!

While Buffalo didn't top the list or crack the Top 10 it's still an impressive feat to make the top 20 of a national list. Affordable pricing for Oktoberfest tickets is just one the many things that helped elevate the city on the list.  If one thing is for sure, Buffalo has made a name for itself in the brewing world over the past few years and it's paying off for our national recognition.

Buffalo is slowly becoming the best place for anything and that awesome! You can see the full study and where else Buffalo falls in their listed categories HERE. And mark it down on your calendars, the beer festival you don't want to miss is back!
