Here’s The Schedule To See The “Fab 4″ Lion Cubs At The Buffalo Zoo
You've heard all about them. You may have even seen a video or two of them. But now, you're going to be able to actually see them in person.
In June, the Buffalo Zoo welcomed four new lion cubs to their African Lion Exhibit and they're finally making their debut to the public starting today.
They're called the Fab 4
They were born on June 2nd and 3rd to their mama Lusaka and their proud dad Tiberius. There are two males and two females in the litter. Because there were four of them, they obviously took on the nickname "The Fab 4."
Today is the day that they make their public debut
The Zoo announced that today will be the first day that the public might be able to get a glimpse of the cubs with their own eyes. They will be making their debut in their outdoor habitat.
They do want people to know though, that there is no guarantee that you will be able to see them. They will still have a little adjustment time as they explore their new living space.
When can you visit them?
You may have noticed in the post above that the viewing time is very limited. There is only a two-hour window from 10 am until 12 pm for today. That will continue until Monday, August 21st. However, those times will change over the next couple of weeks as they become a little more comfortable.
Members of the zoo will have an opportunity to access the park an hour earlier on Saturday, August 19th to get a glimpse of them starting at 9 am.
The Buffalo Zoo is open from 10 am until 4 pm daily.
