Carly Pearce has released the music video for her debut single, "Every Little Thing." Click play above to watch the hauntingly beautiful video, which shows Pearce performing the heartbreak ballad.

Written by Pearce and co-writer / producer busbee following a tough breakup, "Every Little Thing" is a song that Pearce never really expected to see the light of day.

“I wrote this song — my debut single — thinking that no one would ever hear it, about a guy who broke my heart a few years ago,” Pearce explained during a recent performance at Big Machine Label Group’s luncheon at the 2017 Country Radio Seminar. “I think that we never really understand that our hearts are ultimately the ones that have to decide when we’re ready to let somebody go.”

While Pearce's performance at the CRS luncheon involved a stripped-down acoustic setup, the version of "Every Little Thing" featured in the song's music video is decidedly more intricate. In the clip, Pearce is surrounded by a beautiful combination of steel guitar, piano and cello, her soulful voice perfectly complemented by the instrumentation behind her.

"The scent that you left on my pillow / The sound of your heart beating with mine / The look in your eyes like a window / The taste of your kiss soaked in wine," Pearce sings in the first verse of "Every Little Thing," leading into the achingly honest chorus: "Every little thing / I remember every little thing / The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting / Of every little thing."

"Every Little Thing" is Pearce's first release since signing with Big Machine Label Group in January. The singer-songwriter has already spent time opening for the Josh Abbott Band and Kelsea Ballerini; The Boot named Pearce as one of 10 new country artists to watch in 2017.
