In other news, Regis Philbin did not retire because of old age.  According toTMZ, Regis decided to quit after he was told that his contract will be cut after the current one expires.  The network felt that Regis takes off so much time, that a pay cut was fitting.

Fitness legend Jack LaLanne passed away on Sunday at the age of 96.  He suffered respiratory failure due to pneumonia.
