If you have a couple extra bucks today, you might want to toss it at some of the new country music hitting store shelves today.  Right off the bat Lady Antebellum's Own The Night.  It's the group's 3rd album and it features the hits "Just A Kiss" & "We Owned The Night." Also out today- George Strait's Icon, which is basically like a greatest hits package.  Brantley Gilbert, (the guy who sings Country Must Be Country Wide) has re-released his CD Halfway To Heaven- Deluxe.  Finally,  a couple of country music newcomers......The Dirt Drifters drop their debut album today as does singer/actress Kristen Chenoweth.  Her album is entitled Some Lessons Learned!

If you remember back to the Hootie & The Blowfish days, you'll remember the song "Only Want To Be With You" and that front man Darius Rucker is a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins.  He remembers how tough it was to be a Dolphins fan back in 1972 when the team was beat by the Dallas Cowboys.  Rucker admitted that he cried like a baby that day. ( Buffalo fans....you know what it's like....Wide Right!!!)  Rucker went on to say that his beloved Dolphins haven't won a Super Bowl since he was 6 years old.....he's 45 now!

TV TODAY/TONIGHT

- Lady Antebellum will be promoting their new CD with stops at NBC's Today and CBS' The Late Show With David Letterman....though I think the Letterman is a repeat!

Look for Taylor Swift to make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show!

Lastly, Happy Birthday to Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney!
