Darien Lake Announces New ‘RipCurl Racer’ Water Ride for 2016

It may be freezing right now, but this summer the idea of a water ride is going to cool you down!

Darien Lake will have a brand new water ride that will include the element of racing when the gates open for the 2016 season! The RipCurl Racer is a 294-foot slide that sits 42-feet high and has six flumes that will make for an entertaining race!

It's not just a straight up slide; riders will be taken on a 24-second trip through "dark in-braided twisting tunnel and shoot into the open multi-bump racing lanes hoping to be crowned victorious."

It sounds like RipCurl Racer will be a very popular ride if we experience a summer like the one we had last year!
