Daytona Speedway Ending Race Tradition This Weekend

It is has been in place since the 50's and it is time to say goodbye for now.

When the fast cars of The Monster Energy Cup series hit the track on Saturday night, it will be the start of the last July race for Daytona Speedway.

According to Metro Source News:

Saturday's Coke Zero Sugar 400 will likely be the last time the NASCAR race is held at the track on July 4th weekend.  Starting next year, the race will take place in August.
