This is one of those stories that's hard to believe but it's true. According to WIVB, a dog named 'Oreo' was taken from her Gatlinburg, Tennessee owner Ms. Dove in 2011.

Fast forward eight years, when deputies in Knox County, Tennessee were able to identify the missing dog they discovered because her owner had her micro-chipped and all her information came back when they checked it.

Ms. Dove never thought she see Oreo again but thanks to the work of the Knox County deputies, she was able to finally see her dog once again.

This story is incredible and is certainly an example to never give up hope on anything.
