Your kids probably grew up with him...he probably taught them their ABC's and how to sing songs.  Now, he's getting his very own talk show.

You know who I'm talking about.  That furry red monster named Elmo from Sesame Street is taking his talents to the evening hours, but not too late.

It's called "The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo" and it will premiere on HBO Max on Wednesday, May 27.

The show will help kids with their nighttime routines.  If there's one thing we know that kids thrive on, it's routine.  According to Popsugar, they will focus on things like including putting on pajamas, reading stories, and transitioning from daytime to nighttime.

And who could possibly be a better co-host than another monster from Sesame Street.  This one is blue and he LOVES cookies!  Yup, the cookie monster himself will be Elmo's cohost.

But they won't be alone.  Just as Sesame Street has special guests, Elmo has some friends that he will be inviting to the party including the Jonas Brothers, John Mulaney, Olivia Wilde, Lil Nas X, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., and Jonathan Van Ness. And as any good late night host will tell you, you have to invite other fellow late-night hosts to chime in with expert hosting advice.  Count on Elmo to lean on Jimmy Fallon, Hoda Kotb, John Oliver, and Andy Cohen to help him out.

They've planned 13 episodes that will run weekly on Thursday nights.

If you're interested in a sneak peak, tune into the Sesame Street YouTube channel on Thursday, May 21 for a special preview episode and check out @Elmo on Instagram for updates about the show.
