Unfortunately, if you were hoping to go to Explore & More any time soon, those plans may have to change.  But there's good news.

What is Explore & More Museum?

Explore & More is an immersive museum that encourages hands-on play for kids to learn and grow.  They describe themselves as "A world-class children’s museum that celebrates the power of child-led play."  They've got exhibits that explore the movement of water, how to be a good neighbor, how to build your own car and then drive it through the streets of Buffalo, and more.

Explore & More closing temporarily

Unfortunately they've made the announcement that they'll be closing for a few weeks starting on Thursday (9/14).  They anticipate they'll be closed Through October 18th, so the closure will last just over a month.

Why is Explore & More closing?

There's good news as to why they'll be closing.

The answer is that they're closing for refurbishment and to add a new exhibit.  So even though we will be without them for a few weeks, they're planning to come back even better once they open up again.

“During this time, our team will be hard at work cleaning, repairing, installing, and brainstorming all the new ways we can make the museum even more enriching for our community,” - Explore & More

Also, there will be a few opportunities to book the museum for private parties (mostly on weekends)  If you'd like to reach them with inquiries about that, email booking@exploreandmore.org for more info.

They added that they will be giving updates and some behind-the-scenes pictures on their social media pages.  They encourage everyone to follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all the changes.
