From Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, there are fireworks going off at really any given location in Western New York; whether they're professional shows or people doing it at their own homes.

Many people love fireworks but for small children, those with PTSD and dogs, fireworks can be sensitive. It's always best to know if a major fireworks display is taking place and there will be one later tonight in Orchard Park.

According to the West Seneca Police Department, there will be fireworks going off at Highmark Stadium tonight. The reason is that the pyrotechnics company used by the Bills will be conducting firework tests and the fireworks could be large, so you should be able to see them driving in much of Orchard Park.

There's no word on when the testing will begin, but it's probably safe to assume it will happen at dusk (between 9-10 p.m.).

I love all things fireworks but my dog doesn't. She's deathly afraid of fireworks and we don't live too far from the Bills Stadium, so this is good to get a heads up. Perhaps you can make different plans for this evening if you live near Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Fourth of July is less than three weeks away, which means we will be getting many more fireworks very shortly.
