French Connection Statue Being Unveiled Tonight @ The FNC!!!

The Buffalo Sabres are set to unveil a statue honoring "The French Connection" tonight at 7pm outside of the First Niagara Center.  "The French Connection", made up of Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin and Rene Robert, was one of hockey's greatest scoring lines.  Families of the 3 players are expected to be in attendance tonight at the unveiling ceremony, along with a number of Sabres alumni as well as Terry & Kim Pegula.  Another new addition to the plaza is 5 brick columns that has the names of all 401 of the Sabres alumni.
