Get Ready To Shell Out Big Bucks For Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is almost here and this year, according to at least one source, it may be the most expensive yet!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Perhaps somebody has asked you that question recently? Hopefully your plans include getting prepared for the dinner now.
Whenever we talk about Thanksgiving, before Halloween comes around, we certainly get some criticism. People are always frustrated when the holidays get pushed through. But it is worth mentioning that some of the items that you traditionally enjoy for Thanksgiving may not be available or may cost a lot of money this year.
Similarly, toys and other gifts for Christmas may be expensive or not available at all. I would suggest that if you were going to pick out a specific toy or item to give to someone this, Christmas you buy it now and hold onto it. I have been to a few stores looking for some things and some of the shelves are completely bare.
I hope your Thanksgiving plans allow you to be around lots of friends and family this year. It’s something that we haven’t been able to do because of the pandemic and this year perhaps that has changed for your family. If you are in charge of the dinner or bringing something to pass, you may want to stock up on the ingredients and the turkey now if you can find it.
