Have You Ever Wanted A Goat..Now You Can Adopt One
24 homeless goats in Pennsylvania are looking for new homes.
The goats who go by the names Jelly Bean, Bailey, Peanut Butter and their friends are now looking for a new home after the diary farm they lived at closed down.
Currently, 24 goats are staying at the Animal Rescue, INC in York County Pennsylvania need new homes.
Some of the mother goats that have kids will need to be adopted together.
According to officials with the animal rescue...goats are not difficult to care for but they do need some space to graze and regular trips to the vet.
Most goats will live for 12-14 years and need to be closed in at nightfall to protect them from predators.
They also need their hooves trimmed every 4-6 weeks, sanitary housing, clean water, warm water in winter, sunshine, quality food, and pasture.
Right now there is no fee to adopt a goat but a home inspection is required by the rescue.
