In the wake of the deadliest shooting in modern United States history, Steve Sisolak, the Clark County Commission Chair from Las Vegas wrote this on the Go Fund Me page this morning:

We are raising funds to assist the victims of the tragic Las Vegas shooting. I spent last nightwith Sheriff Lombardo at Clark County's only level-one trauma center.

Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.

The donation page has surpassed their original goal already in 14 hours and, at the time of posting, the page has over $2.5 million raised for the victims and families in less than 14 hours.

If you have friends or family in Vegas in attendance on the festival you can call 1-866-535-5654 and they will try to connect you.

Donating blood was an essential need this morning, but the American people came out by the numbers to help Lines started forming at the crack of dawn at blood banks operated "while hundreds of people dropped off food and other supplies at the Thomas & Mack Center on the University of Nevada campus."
