It's St. Patrick's Day!  It's a day where people from all nationalities wear green and eat corned beef and cabbage, but what is your favorite method of cooking it?

For years I always thought the best way to cook corned beef was to boil it.  It was easy.  It took a while, but it was less time than it takes in a crockpot.

Then I found out, you could do it in the oven.  You just braise it with beer and let it cook.

One year my wife and I were both busy and didn't want to mess with it all day and we tried the crockpot method.  We just put it in early in the day and let it cook all day long.  It was great.  We've been doing it that way ever since.

I asked you on Twitter and most of the people that responded agreed.  The crockpot is the way to go.

We got an Instant Pot a couple years ago and are always looking for new things to do with it.  We don't actually use it that much and it takes up a lot of counter space, so we are always trying to justify having it.  The things that we have cooked in it always turn out great.  We've done ribs, and chicken, and roasts, but we normally just use it for cooking rice.

So again, I asked people on social media that have an Instant Pot if they've ever tried it.  Looks like I might have to switch up my method again.  A few people said they had a bad experience, but most had a great turnout.

Has anyone who has an Instant Pot ever done corned beef in it? It feels like that would be a great way to do it. Anyone ever tried? How do you do yours?

So the question is...how do YOU cook your corned beef?
