If you do any pistol shooting, you have probably heard the arguments about revolvers verses semi-auto pistols. We own a number of each and they both have their pros and cons. With a revolver, you never have to worry about cartridges jamming the way some semi-auto's can. Of course, most semi-auto pistols allow you to carry more bullets in the gun. With my Ruger 9mm, I can have 15 shots in the clip plus one round in the chamber. Another argument I hear from time to time is that you can shoot faster with a semi-auto. That may be true at times, but not always. Here's a video of my son Tyler shooting five rounds from a Smith & Wesson model 60 revolver.
