You would not believe how costly the most expensive pizza in New York is. It serves up decadence and luxury, but do you think it's worth the money? Pizza and New York are a match made in Heaven. There's the traditional New York slice, which tends to be a bit greasy and foldable, ready to be eaten while walking the streets of the city. Then there is Sicilian, which has a square shape and a thicker crust. Anyone who lives in or has had pizza from Buffalo knows that the city offers its unique style of pizza, often with cupped and charred old-world pepperoni. Of course, New York offers all other styles of pizza, too.

You can find the most expensive pizza in New York State at Industry Kitchen, located at 70 South Street At Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10005. The pizza has even made it into the Guinness World Record. The pizza holds the record for the "Most expensive pizza commercially available," which is had held since April 24, 2017. It costs $2,000 with a $700 upgrade if you want to add 1.5 oz Almas Caviar. The pizza features Stilton blue cheese, Hudson Valley foie gras, Platinum Osetra caviar, French Périgord truffle, and 24k gold leaves.

Pizza is one of my favorite food groups (I know it's not a real food group), but I'm not sure I would try this pizza. None of the sounds appealing to me, but if I had money to blow I might try it just to say I tried.
